Intel Xeon – classification with Core 2 mapping (Updated)

This is just a small note for the classification on Intel Xeon Series.
Xeon 3000 Series is LGA775, which is also the remark products of Core 2 series.
This note is only available for Intel Xeon Series.
The article has two parts : Compare Xeon Series and Xeon 3000 Series – Core 2 Series mapping.

Intel Xeon 3000 Series – Xeon 30×0(65nm)
– Intel Xeon 30×0 Series
– Core # : Dual Core
– One way Processor
– LGA 775, compatible with most LGA 775 motherboard
– Kernel : Allendale or Conroe.
– FSB : 1066
– Architecture : Second Core Architecture, earlier version on L2 cacahe size (2MB) for Allendale and Conroe(4MB), equivalent to Core 2 Duo E6x00
– Chipset : Intel S3000 Series

– Difference : Compared to Xeon 30×0, this generation has EIST technology.

Exception Comments 1:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6320, E6420 products do not have correspond Xeon products.
E6320 and E6420 have the same speed with E6300 and E6400. The only difference is that E6x20 has larger L2, which Intel promotes it from 2M -> 4M.
