Upgrading to SharePoint 3.0 or Office SharePoint Portal 2007

Generally, you have two ways to upgrade your SharePoint  Service from 2.0 / Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to SharePoint Service 3.0 / Office SharePoint Portal Server 2007

1. Using Windows 2003 OS

a. Install Microsoft Windows 2003 with R2 Edition, which will provide you an option to install SharePoint Portal Service 2.0.

b. Download SharePoint Portal Service 3.0 from Microsoft, then upgrade to SharePoint Portal Service 3.0

2.  Using  Office 2007 SharePoint Portal Server disk
